Middles Eastern sleep pattern and oxidative stress

Fahad Al ZadjaliNormal sleep duration and quality is essential for the body to promote strong immunity, restore energy and maintain balanced metabolism. With industrial development the pattern of sleep is changed specially in the Middle East region where multiple patterns is expected due to Fajr prayer and afternoon siesta.

During Beirut Antioxidants World Congress, Dr Fahad Al-Zedjali from Sultan Qaboos University, Oman will cover the patterns of sleep observed in a population from Middle East and also changes in markers of oxidative stress.
